True Teleradiology

PioSoft is a medical tech company based out of Boston. Working closely with the founder I developed the graphics for the website and user interface. I used a fun, illustrative style to convey the technologies provided, which included medical file transfer, teleradiology, and databasing. The simplified style makes the interface friendly and accessible for use by medical staff and patients.

These illustrations were created using a wacom tablet in adobe illustrator.

Yankee Doodler

appweb

The owner of Yankee Doodler, a beautiful arts and framing shop in Marblehead, MA, contacted me for help in the design of a few projects, most notably for the design of their website. I used wordpress to create a custom design that showed the playfulness of the owners and their community based shop. I layered custom illustrations, textures, and photos to give the site a hand crafted feel.

GreenDog Program

brand

Working as art director and designer with Blue Print Studios, my team and I created the branding and collateral for Brookline's GreenDog Program, Brookline's dog park program. Thorough research of state park's branding, pet brands, and other sources helped us to develop this family friendly branding that uses bright colors and a simplified illustrative style. The branding was used throughout Brookline's parks, websites, and printed materials.

Newsletters

As a designer at Analog Devices, a large microchip manufacturer and technology solutions provider, I've had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects while following ADI's strict branding guidelines. Projects vary from PR graphics, that publicize ADI's products, solutions, and partnerships; product highlights and brochures, that are produced for the web and print; technical articles and illustrations; publication design for ADI's technical magazine Analog Dialogue, the longest running in-house publication in the electronics industry; and 3D renderings of part illustrations. I currently manage the html and OFT newsletter program, directing a team of designers on the design and production of newsletters promoting new products in each market, invitations to trade show demonstrations, and promotion of partnerships and tools.

As lead designer at ABnote, I worked on a variety of projects from marketing collateral such as brochures, business cards, emails, and handout as well as creating presentations for our clients on our capabilities as a plastic card manufacturer and payments processor, along with UX design of applications.

I lead a small team of designers in the creation of treatment presentations for clients such as Target and Walmart. I gained a deep understanding of print on various substrates and would work with research and development as well as with the press floor staff in the creation of new techniques to offer our clients.

The Leanest Version

This logo was created for a Sigma Six consultant whose purpose so to minimize steps in processes and to iterate a process to find "the leanest version". I took the opportunity to connect some of the internal letters of the logo to depict the speed of the path and we created a logo mark based on the same font, with a warm, vibrant orange, and played off of the word lean and gave the V. a tilt, making it memorable when standing alone.

Yankee Doodler

I love small shops, especially the ones where my friends work! Located in Marblehead, Yankee Doodler is everything that is right framing and cool gifts and accessories. I’m not just saying that because I just finished working with them on their website. They did an amazing job with a few prints I got while traveling to Nashville, from the Hatch Show Print. As this was my first forray into framing, Sam did a fantastic job choosing how to frame them. Now I have beautiful pieces of work on my walls, and I don’t look like i live in a college dormitory! Their gift selection is crazy eclectic, I’m hoping to go on one of their many gift show trips to see them do their magic.

There are so many amazing hand made products in the world. Etsy draws me in from time to time and it’s hard to choose between so many talented artists and crafters! A beautiful set of jewelry made by one of the most loving and caring people I know can be found at Earth Lotus RisingĀ . All of her pieces are a made with a thoughtful technique, a careful touch and a focus on healing. One of my favorite pieces in the store right now is this pair of copper earrings

Redesign

I recently finished the Aquent Gymnasium WordPress Theme class and felt a redesign of my site was in order. As I practice what I learned the format of this site should slowly morph into a format that is completely created by me. Right now I’m working to get the organization down to have a site that has better functionality and easily modified in the future. Here’s to the future.
